The wall construction to the original dwellinghouse consists of solid masonry with insulated plasterboard fixed to the internal face of all external walls.
The plasterboard used is paper backed. It is evident from inspection that the the original walls suffer from damp. The solution used on this property would not be the correct method of treating damp.
It is noted during inspection that the damp problem has now found its way though the new plasterboard and is presenting the same problem on the newly gypsum plastered walls.”
Need two quotes on two different methods being used: 1. Calsitherm Board 2. Timber studs also on which method would be the best to use.
Property is at Glanycummane, Freemount, Co. Cork P56 KX40 and is currently not being lived in. An appointment needs to be made as soon as possible with the agent for access to the property.
All communication and quotes needs to be directed to me and not the agent.
